The Mid-Continent Railway Museum, open to the general public, is an outdoor, living history museum and operating railroad recreating the small town/short line way of life during the ''Golden Age of Railroading'' Museum includes indoor/outdoor display areas with restored locomotives, rail cars, structures & interpretive displays.
Tickets can be purchased in the restored depot prior to departure or reserved in advance(recommended during special events & required for on board dining tickets). Visit website for current list of train ride departures & special event dates.
