Lightning New Rider (Ho-Chunk/Oneida) is a naturalist and caterer specializing in indigenous foods. He will share his knowledge and provide samples of foods that have been foraged and used by the indigenous peoples for generations.

Class is at the Nature Center at Devil's Lake. Programming is made possible through the generous support of the WI DNR, Little Eagle Arts Foundation, the Friends of Devil's Lake State Park, WI Arts Board, and Sauk County. 

Fees/Admission

This free workshop is a part of the Tee Wákacak program series, and is a partnership between Little Eagle Arts Foundation and the Nature Center at Devil's Lake State Park. Pre-registration is required due to limited class size. Call the Nature Center (608) 356-8301 ext. 140 to reserve your spot.
